Volunteer Member Summary
The Foundation believes Volunteer work is very important to the success of the foundation. Our goal is to enhance the environmental education and conservation awareness within the county and its surrounding communities. Dedicated volunteers that can promote environmental awareness will play a essential role in achieving our mission. Volunteers at the Driftless Area Education and Visitor Center will welcome visitors and provide information regarding the Driftless Centers historical, natural, and recreational resources that this area provides. How Do You Become A Volunteer?
Simply fill out this application and a member of our volunteer team will contact to you to discuss getting involved. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, do not hesitate to speak with the ACCB’s office manager, Jackie Cooper. She will be happy to assist you.
Volunteer Responsibilities Will Include:
- Welcome & greet visitors
- Conduct informational tours
- Maintain the center’s operations
- Direct visitor center calls & provide information to the public
- Operate the cash register & stock sales area
- Assist ACCB’s naturalist with educational programs
